Gritman Teddy Bear Clinic

Gritman Teddy Bear Clinic
Project Description
Each spring, children from around the Palouse are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal and learn about what happens in the hospital. Gritman staff and volunteers lead kids on tours through the hospital to various stations such as “Germ-busters,” “Little Bear Care,” “Surgery,” and “Cub Casts. Stations are hosted by local medical practices including Moscow Family Medicine, Palouse Pediatrics, ClearView Eye Clinic, and Moscow Medical. It is a fun and interactive way to educate kids on medical care and help them to be comfortable in the healthcare setting.
