The members of the UW Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) partner with the UW undergraduate student group Chicanos/Latinos for Community Medicine (CCM) in order to provide mentorship, guidance, and support to its members. CCM is a student-run pre-health professions group that strives to improve the health outcomes of underserved communities while supporting members in their pursuit of careers in health care. Through workshops, community events, and personal mentorship, LMSA is striving to support CCM in their mission.
