Asylum Evaluation Clinic

Asylum Evaluation Clinic
Project Description
Student scribes assist physician evaluators by documenting the encounter from start to finish. Evaluations are 1-2 hours long, depending on each client’s specific needs. Afterward, scribes work closely with the evaluating physician to document findings in a legal affidavit. Students and physicians typically revise and finalize the affidavit together over email, 1-2 days after the evaluation.
