The primary goal of this project is to allow medical students and PA students the opportunity to serve the homeless and underserved by working alongside providers in an urban clinic. Students will work one-on-one with a physician or nurse practitioner preceptor over a quarter-long period at the Providence House of Charity clinic. Students interview patients, perform physical exams, develop provisional assessments, and assist in medical procedures—all under the supervision of a physician preceptor.
